Rylie Lamb
Attorney at Law

Rylie Lamb was born and raised in Montana, attending Carroll College before earning her Juris Doctor from the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana. Rylie is a Guardian ad Litem with Timm Law Firm, where she represents the best interests of children in high-conflict custody and parenting disputes.

Rylie’s legal education emphasized child advocacy and dispute resolution. In addition to her coursework in family law and the Montana Indian Child Welfare Act, she studied Alternative Dispute Resolution and completed 40 hours of Foundations of Mediation training through the Missoula Community Dispute Resolution Center. Rylie’s foundation in dispute resolution tactics informs her approach to high-conflict parenting cases, preparing her to reduce parental tension while keeping the focus on the child in every case.

After her 1L year, Rylie interned with a practicing Guardian ad Litem, observing several investigations at different stages of the process. That experience gave her early exposure to the complexity and responsibility of GAL work.

Rylie’s motivation to work in this field is rooted in a long-standing interest in ensuring that children are not overlooked in legal proceedings. She believes the child’s needs should drive every parenting decision, not the desires of the parents. She also recognizes how damaging prolonged parental conflict can be and is committed to reducing its impact wherever possible.
