Megan Timm

Megan Timm is an attorney practicing in the Flathead Valley of Montana, where she and her husband Jacob have been residents since 2009. She practices in the Montana Justice, District, and Supreme Courts as well as the federal United States District Court for the State of Montana.

Megan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Montana State University - Billings with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and then attended the University of Montana for her graduate studies. She graduated with honors from the University of Montana School of Law while simultaneously earning a Master of Business Administration degree. As a law student, she served as the executive editor for the Volume 78, Issue 1 of the Montana Law Review. During her final year of law school, Megan purchased an outdoor advertising company and served as President and CEO until its sale in 2021.

After gaining experience in a wide variety of legal matters, Megan has limited her practice to two primary areas of law. Melissa Stones-Smith is a Montana native licensed to practice in the state of Montana and in the United States District Court for the State of Montana.

Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Psychology in addition to her law degree, which she earned from the University of Montana. With a history of paralegal work in family law prior to becoming an attorney, Melissa brings essential experience to her work with clients. She is a passionate advocate for parents throughout the state facing challenging custody matters.
